Parish Plans

Parish Plans are all embracing action plans prepared by communities themselves to influence the future of their community.

The Borough Council is working in partnership with Cheshire Community Council, Cheshire County Council, the Peak District National Park Authority and other agencies in the Local Strategic Partnership to encourage and support parish councils in preparing plans.

The following parishes have produced plans:

• Bollington
• Bosley (available in hard copy)
• Gawsworth
• Ollerton with Marthall
• Over Peover
• Plumley with Toft and Bexton
• Poynton
• Rainow
• Wincle

The following are producing them:

• Adlington
• Alderley Edge
• Chelford
• High Legh
• Mobberley
• Pickmere
• Prestbury

The following are at the preliminary stages of producing Parish Plans:

• Lower Withington

Other parishes are actively considering producing Parish Plans.
