Car Parks

Q1. Have you "pay on foot" or "pay on return" facilities?

A1. No, only "pay and display".

Q2. Why do our machines not give change?

A2. None of the pay and display machines available for use outdoors have change giving facilities. Although separate change machines could be installed, these would present significant operational and security problems on unmanned sites.

Q3. How do I report a faulty ticket machine or a car park defect?

A3. We are very grateful for any information when our facilities fall below the required standard. Please telephone 01625-504706 or email car parks.

Q4. Do blue badge holders have to pay?

A4. No, blue badge holders park free of charge in any bay on a pay and display car park without any time limits.

Q5. Are there any free car parks?

A5. Yes, for the full list, see free car parks.

Q6. Are season tickets for car parking available?

A6. Yes, although some car parks have waiting lists. If you are interested in a contract, we have more information, terms and conditions and application forms elsewhere on this website - you can ring 01625-500500 for further details.

Q7. Where can I park a coach or a lorry?

A7. Coach parking is available at Duke Street car park in Macclesfield and is charged at the flat rate of £4.00 per day.
Lorry parking is available by contract only to park on a secure site at Shaw Heath Lorry Park, Mobberley Road, Knutsford. Please email car parks or telephone 01625-504706.
